IPod?

I have been looking into the idea of adding an IPod as a music source.  With only 1 CD slot and no good place to store the extra CD's I am told that an IPod is a very  good option,  I am still in the research mode, knowing that the only possible input is the small jack below the radio.  Keep tuned -- I will comment later on what I learn.

  1. Don't forget that the CD player plays MP3 CDs. I have 10 CDs worth on music on 1 MP3 CD! The navigation is pretty good but based on folder and file names not MP3 tags.

  2. I made a MP3 CD which works well, but I find navigatio difficult, put too many differant albums in it. I use my iphone for music mostly it works well but the touch screen is difficult to manage while driving. I'd recommend a nano with those easy to feel buttons or the new iphone 3G S with voice command, dont get a ipod touch if this is your primary purpose.
