ME #1

Since taking delivery of MINI-E 030 on 6/1/09 I have been tracking the KWH of electricity each time I recharge, noting the % of discharge of the car battery before that charge. I am finding it uses about .34 KWH average per mile of driving.

  1. Roy,

.34 kWh / mi also includes the charging efficiency and the power drain of the Clipper Creek box. The car itself actually consumes less.

  2. Nice blog Roy. MINI E 005 is back at the dealer. After a spirited drive up Newport Coast, a new light came on and now car won't accept a charge.
